This interior design project focuses on creating a welcoming and functional environment with a natural aesthetic and a strong connection to nature to promote the well-being and quality of life of the occupants. Let’s detail each space and the approach to integrate them harmoniously:
1. Living Room, Dining Room, and Lounge Integrated with the Terrace
-
Integration and Flow: The living room, dining room, and lounge will be integrated with the terrace, providing a continuous flow that visually expands the space and creates a sense of openness.
-
Colors and Materials: The color palette will be neutral, predominantly featuring earthy tones, whites, and light grays for a serene backdrop. Light wood or oak may be applied to furniture, decorative details, and panels, providing warmth and an organic look.
-
Biophilic Design: Large plants, such as Monstera or Ficus, can be positioned to bring greenery into the environment. Natural elements like stones and natural textures will be introduced, with fiber rugs and ceramics adding character.
-
Natural Lighting: Light, airy curtains will allow natural light to fill the space, reducing the need for artificial light during the day.
2. Kitchen
-
Functionality and Comfort: The kitchen will be designed to offer functionality and ergonomics, with a integrated countertop that facilitates social interaction. Cabinets in light wood combined with quartz or natural stone countertops create a balanced aesthetic.
-
Connection to the Dining Area: The kitchen will be strategically close to the dining room for visual connection, with doors or panels that allow for integration when desired.
-
Colors and Natural Elements: To strengthen the biophilic design, neutral tones and materials like wood and natural marble will be used on surfaces. Small herb pots or fresh herb arrangements can complement the decor.
3. Bedrooms
-
Comfort and Tranquility: The bedrooms will focus especially on comfort, with a palette of soft neutral tones and indirect lighting to create a relaxing atmosphere. Wooden or natural fabric headboards bring a cozy feel.
-
Textures: Soft rugs, cushions, and throws in natural fabrics add to the sense of warmth and coziness.
4. Bathroom and Powder Room
-
Minimalist and Functional Design: In the bathroom and powder room, the design will be minimalist, with neutral colors to reinforce a sense of calm.
-
Materials and Connection with Nature: Wood surfaces (moisture-resistant), stone countertops, and plants suitable for humid environments will bring the biophilic element into the bathroom and powder room.
-
Lighting: Soft lighting will be installed to create a welcoming atmosphere, with focused lights around the mirror and natural light where possible.
